Mary Gaynor: W.S.E.T Diploma, M.B.A Wine

Mary is passionately interested in wine and has been involved in wine education for sixteen years. She was the first person in Ireland to be awarded the WSET diploma in 1987. In 2002 having studied in France , Japan , Australia , Chile and the USA she was the first Irish woman to be awarded the M.B.A in wine from Bordeaux Business School .

Anna Zanotto: W.S.E.T Diploma

Anna was first introduced to wine by her grandparents, who owned a small "Osteria" restaurant in her home town of Bassano Del Grappa, in the north east of Italy. Anna has recently been awarded the W.S.E.T Wine Diploma. She shares her great love of Italian food and heritage with the students at the Wine Academy. Like Lieven, Anna also currently works in the Wine and Spirits trade.

Tom Callery: W.S.E.T Diploma

Tom has a degree in Industrial Microbiology & Chemistry but his passion for wine persuaded him to take a career change.
He has recently been awarded the W.S.E.T Wine Diploma and he is an established wine buyer for one of the largest wine importers in Ireland.

Jean Smullen: W.S.E.T Diploma

Jean is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers and writes a monthly column for 'Retail News', one of Ireland's key retail trade magazines. She occasionally presents a wine slot on Newstalk 106 with Sean Moncrieff, which goes out every third Friday afternoon. Jean's client list includes the promotional bodies of Chile, New Zealand and Portugal. Jean also works on a freelance basis with other wine producing countries, including, France, Italy Spain. In 2006 and 2007 she took part in Concours Mondial de Bruxelles as a wine judge in their international wine tasting competition.

Breda McSweeney : W.S.E.T Diploma

Breda is also a W.S.E.T Wine Diploma graduate. She has represented Ireland in the International Somellier Competition. Breda has worked as a somellier in her own restaurant "Lacken House" in Kilkenny. She is also a member of the Champagne Academy.
